Capitolo 26 - paragrafo VI  (T26 VI.1)

Anything in this world that you believe is good and valuable and worth striving for can hurt you, and will do so. 2 Not because it has the power to hurt, but just because you have denied it is but an illusion, and made it real. 3 And it is real to you. 4 It is not nothing. 5 And through its perceived reality has entered all the world of sick illusions. 6 All belief in sin, in power of attack, in hurt and harm, in sacrifice and death, has come to you. 7 For no one can make one illusion real, and still escape the rest. 8 For who can choose to keep the ones that he prefers, and find the safety that the truth alone can give? 9 Who can believe illusions are the same, and still maintain that even one is best?

 Ogni cosa nel mondo che ritieni buona e di valore e per cui vale la pena lottare può ferirti, e lo farà. 2Non perché abbia il potere di far male, ma solamente perché hai negato che sia solo una illusione, e ne hai fatto realtà. 3Ed è reale per te. 4Non è un nonnulla. 5Ed attraverso la sua percepita realtà è entrata in tutto il mondo con illusioni malate. 6Ogni credenza nel peccato, nel potere dell’attacco, nel  colpire e nel far male, nel sacrificio e nella morte, sono venuti a te. 7Perché nessuno può far di una illusione realtà, e poi scappare dalle rimanenti. 8Perché chi può scegliee di tenere quelle che preferisce, e trovare la sicurezza che solamente la verità può dare? 9Chi può credere che le illusioni siano le stesse, ed ancora mantenere solo quell’unica come migliore?

ciò che non riguarda Lui non ha il potere di fare nulla.
